After setting off from Heisler Park Gazebo, the parade made stops near Main Beach, then traveled along the Forest Avenue Promenade, where onlookers and parade goers sang ‘happy birthday.’

Marc Whitney, a retail tenant on Forest Avenue, said he was against the project because the lack of downtown parking deters potential customers to visit their stores.
